| Reverend Hall got his amateur radio operator's license in 1981,
upgrading to general class operator in 1985. He joined the Military Auxiliary Radio Service and worked his way up to
the position of Assistant State Director. In this capacity he would arise at 4am
and hold a cw net on hf, with operators checking in statewide. Along with
voice and Morse code, he used computerized packet radio, adding a Commodore 64
to his radio rig. |
