Bill's Mother was born in Arkansas on 21 September 1893 and married William Thomas Hall in 1918. They had three children, Lillie Mae Hall William Thomas Hall, Jr.; and <i> who passed on in her teens.  

While attending Millsaps College he met his bride to be, Joyce Adair. They were married 15 April 1945.
